Weekends in the Woods



 

My husband craves the outdoors. Hiking, fishing, camping, or even just taking a dip in a freezing cold lake are regular occurrences around our house. Although I liked all of these things (except the freezing water) before we got married, it has become something I truly love!



It can be so easy to get sucked into our daily routine. Work, school, hobbies, social media, you name it. Everything is begging for attention and it can get so exhausting to try to stay on top of everything happening around us! For us, the perfect way to reset and recharge after a long week is to get outside and remember what's really important. 




I have cherished the time Kyle and I have been able to spend together in the woods, unplugged from the rest of the world. 




There are plenty of studies that show that being outdoors can help decrease depression, spur weight loss, help with concentration, and increase overall health. Plus, it's beautiful so....what are you waiting for!?
